We're Rodney & Jenn!
We love to squeeze the marrow out of life and take pride in deep meaningful relationships with friends all while maintaining our regular day jobs. Being “yes” people and using our time wisely has given us what we call a diamond life. Along the way we have become quick trip experts, event experiencers, and party hosting heroes. Jenni’s love for data has everything well tracked and documented which is what we’re sharing with you here. Hope some of our efforts (and thoughts) help you enhance your life!

Historical Overview:
Rodney grew up in Idaho to a potato farming family. True fact - his great uncle invented the tater tot! He has 5 sisters and finds himself as a middle child and only boy. He worked on the family farm (and has been paying taxes) since he was 12.
Jen grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. She has a brother and sister, her parents are nearly 30 years apart.
Despite being a walk on, Jen made the traveling team for cross country and track at her D1 college all while balancing engineering courses. Halfway through her sophomore year she was hit by a car while on campus and it ended her running career.
Rodney moved to Norway for nearly three years and is fluent in Norwegian.
Jen started making wearable art for fun as a hobby and landed a print and paid publications. Mediums used were readily accessible and often everyday objects.
When the economy bubble burst in 2008, civil engineering halted so Jen pivoted and started her own staffing agency that she ran until the pandemic.
The loss of Jen's father was profoundly impactful and forever changed the way she approached the world.
Rodney's marketing career moved into clean energy and started with SolarCity. Later he worked for Tesla, GivePower, GoodLeap, and Redwood Materials. He's driven by purpose and changing the world.
We met in San Francisco after successfully swiping right on each other in the 2010's. There we started jet setting and amplified our adventures by buying a sailboat and later buying an RV.
In 2017 we lost our dogs. In February Gizmo the Italian greyhound died of acute lymphoblastic leukemia and in December Hercules the Doberman died from cardiomyopathy. It was a rough year.
After a year and a half of mourning, we were finally ready to welcome a new pup into our life. After a 3 month search, we fell in love with and adopted a hairless Chinese Crested named Remy
Got engaged and moved to Texas!
Got married during COVID at a very intimate wedding with onlythe closest family members.
In the same year Rodney formally obtained his catamaran sailing license (although we owned a boat and he's sailed catamarans before) AND completed his pilot license!
After many tears and trying to help in all ways possible, Rodney lost his father to colon cancer.
